About Coding Now
Coding Now is a learning and work hub built around 264 free coding lessons (9 language tracks — Python, Java, Rust, JavaScript, C# and more) plus a set of free developer tools (QR generator, subtitle TTS, Windows automation). Retro arcade games and a K-pop celebrity TV are bundled in. Every lecture ships only code that has been run end-to-end, so following along leaves you with something tangible in your hands.
Who runs this site
Coding Now is a one-person studio run by a single developer who splits time between web development and programming education. The site exists to shorten the gap between "I understand the theory" and "I can actually build something with it."
Every lecture is written only after the example code has been compiled and executed at least once. Broken or outdated snippets never ship. All example code is published on GitHub so learners can compare results, fork, and modify freely.
Editorial process
- Every code example is executed on the latest stable runtime at publication time, and the actual output is included in the lecture.
- External libraries and tools are cited with links back to their official documentation whenever possible.
- Bug or typo reports come in via GitHub issues or the contact page and are folded back into the lecture as soon as confirmed.
- When a language or framework releases a major version, affected lectures are reviewed and refreshed in a single pass.
What we build
Retro Arcade — 90s-inspired mini games playable directly in the browser. No sign-up or install — start with a single click.
Celeb TV — A curation hub for K-pop, trot, rock, ballad and more, collecting celebrity videos from across genres in one place.
Lecture Blog — Step-by-step learning tracks: 64 Homepage lessons, 46 Python lessons, 14 C lessons, and 8 Git/GitHub lessons. Each lecture is self-contained — if you follow it, you finish with a tangible result.
Principles
- Build something real. Not theory — hands-on steps that leave you with output.
- Fast and light. A static site that loads quickly, with minimal ads.
- Open materials. Every lecture's example code is published on GitHub for anyone to reference.
